Co-ordinated with editorial, design, production, qa and operations cross functional teams to develop and deploy large scale production web applications from design stage to completion.

Managed multiple engineering projects, co-ordinating activities between departments, resolving schedule and priority conflicts, communicating and monitoring project status.

November 1997 - March 1998 Technical Lead, Aztec Internet (London, UK)
Developed project plan for an architectural redesign of the Financial Times web site (http://www.ft.com). Evaluated and recommended a variety of technologies for a content management system, server platforms (including OS and Web server), and dynamic page generation systems. Interfaced daily FT editorial content with the FT's proprietary databases.

Designed and programmed a simulation of a resource allocation protocol for mobile IP based on microeconomic theory. Evaluated strategies for the integration of mobile hosts within the Internet, considering issues of security, anonymity and connectivity for roaming hosts. Created a set of performance metrics for quality of service requirements within a wireless network and evaluated metrics using statistical methodology

1994-1996 Internet Developer Delphi Creative (News Corporation)
Implemented many aspects of the Delphi Internet Service, including web sites for the London Times (http://www.the-times.co.uk) and News Corp's satellite television unit Sky Internet (http://www.sky.co.uk). Integrated daily creative and copy resources into featured, fully working sites.

Configured third party software such as Web server software, ad technologies, and COM objects. Designed and implemented database driven applications. Analyzed and reported trends in Web server logs. Extensive Apache configuration.
