Clock Works
The Clock Works was a large wooden clock tower built for Black Rock City at Burning Man in 2005. The Clock keep time on three different dials. The first clock kept standard time give or take a few minutes, depending on the weather. The second clock face was driven by the wind through the spinner on the roof and wooden drive shafts. The third clock dial was powered by a wooden crank at the base of the tower which in turn caused a monkey to turn another crank inside of the gear box moving the hands to what ever time the monkey desires. At the end of the event the entire structure was burnt to nothing.
